Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in the year 1998 since the inception of the institution. The department has a highly qualified and experienced faculty team which accentuates on sound practical knowledge, while nurturing creativity in the student community. Electrical and Electronics Engineering deals with the core concepts of generation, transmission, distribution and utilization of electrical power and also covers the study of Electronic Devices and Circuits, Digital Principles, Instrumentation and Control. Additionally, the curriculum is equipped with software courses to enrich the programming skills and acquire multidimensional approach of computing knowledge and problem solving using recent technologies. Thus, the program prepares students for a career in both software and hardware industries such as Design Engineer, Project Engineer, Chief Engineer, Quality Control Engineer, Software Engineer, Development Engineer, Reliability Engineer, Research Engineer, Field Engineer, Test Engineer, Assistant Engineer, Junior Engineer, etc., The curriculum is restructured with Major in Electric Vehicles and Smart systems to reflect the state of the art. Trendsetting, computational and experimental facilities enable the department to undertake basic and applied research and improve research funds and consultancy from various industries. The students acquire interpersonal and communication skills from the EEE Association and promote their professional skills through societies like Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). The students from the department emerge as sound Professionals serving the society through technology.
