The MBA programme of IFET College of Engineering was established in the year 2009 as a full time degree course in affiliation with Anna University, Chennai, recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The department of management studies works with an intention to prepare successful managers, moulding students to work with an attitude of commitment and involvement to the organization they are bound too. The course enables a combination of both theoretical and practical knowledge. Besides this the department of management studies has adequate infrastructure, expertise and resource to excel in imparting management education. To provide a better perspective to the studies the institute also focuses on classes being handled using LCD projectors.

The faculty at the department of management in an eclectic learned and committed team of professionals drawn from various streams of discipline. They bring with them years of experience that enrich the circulate and contribute to the departments Excellence.

Upon completing MBA, graduates gain an in-depth understanding of management principles. At the same time, they have developed excellent managerial skills that will equip them for any administrative position they may encounter, as their career advances. Presently, the Department offers specialization in the following discipline:
