Mr. K.V.Raja, chairman Mr.Mohameed Illiyas, Vice-chairman, Mr.K.Shivram Alva Secretary, Dr.G.Mahendran, Principal, Dr.S.Matilda, Vice Principal and Dean Academics, Prof.J.Asha, Dean-Placement were embellished the function by their presence.
CSIR Sponsored One day National Level Seminar on “Nanobiophotonics: Imaging and Sensing NANOBP -19” was organized by the Department of H&S in association with the Department of CSE. The special talk was given by the chief guest Dr. Velmurugan, Associate Professor,Center of Nanotechnology Research, VIT University,Vellore.
National award for the best M.TECH Thesis in Engineering to promote research in agricultural application and rural development awarded to Ms.V.Britta Devi, Department of CSE for the project entitled A multitasking agriculture Robot using Internet of things and Rasperry PI.

BEST STUDENT AWARDS from Institution of Engineers (India) was received by 8 students for their academic performance. Besides, BEST PROJECT AWARDS was given to 19 projects exhibited by the students for their innovative thinking and providing solution to day to day issues faced by common people.The award function was held at Hosur on 23.03.2018.

The event took place in the presence of Mr.V. Narayanasamy, Chief Minister, Puducherry.
World youth federation JOINTLY WITH CED AU had organized Dr. Kalam Young Achiever Award on National Youth and Student day on 7th OCT ’17.The event ended fruitfully with 14 projects crowning Dr. Kalam Young Achiever Award for their excellence in Technology. The award function took place in MIT Chennai on 15th OCT’17, presided over by Mr.S.Ravichandran Vice President, Delphi-TVS in the presence of Mr.K.Pandiarajan Minister for Tamil Development and Archaeology
Engineers & Scientists Association presented E&SA – Student Engineer Award 2019 for IFETians. K.Dhivya Civil Department secured 2nd prize, M. Arulmozhi Civil Department got Consolation Prize, S.Prasanna Srinivasan Dept. of EEE got 1st Prize and A. Dancing Gibert Mechanical Department got Consolation Prize.
Under the Guidance of Dr. Ananthakumar, Mr.Gokulraj and Mr. Srinath Dept. of ECE have won special prize of Rs. 25000 in McAfee project expo. We are very proud that IFET is one among two from TamilNadu.
