Dr. P. Kanimozhi, Professor, and Dr. T. Ananth Kumar, Associate Professor, Department of CSE, published a research paper titled “Transforming Business Strategies with AI-Driven Predictive Analytics and Ethical Data Practices” in the Proceedings of the International Conference on Applied Informatics (ICAI 2025),  as part of the book series Communications in Computer and Information Science (Vol. 2667), Springer, Cham, on 8th October 2025.

Kanimozhi, Professor, Department of CSE, published a paper titled “Revolutionizing Marine Security with Advanced AI-Driven Autonomous Underwater Defense Systems” in the ICAIW 2025: Workshops at the 8th International Conference on Applied Informatics 2025, held from 8th to 11th October 2025 at Ben Guerir, Morocco.

Ms. Reema Sweety D and Ms. P. Yuva Shri (III Year CSE), along with Ms. K. S. Charumathi, Ms. Gayathri Devi J, Ms. Bhuvaneshwari M, Ms. Gunavathi T, and Ms. Dhanalakshmi R (II Year CSE), participated in “INNOVATIA 4.0” – A National Level Symposium and “Code Craft’25” – A 24-Hour Hackathon, organized by the Department of M.Tech CSE (5-Year Integrated), Sri Sairam Engineering College, Chennai, on 13th October 2025.

Program Educational Objectives

PEO 1

Graduates will be equipped to take on technical and managerial roles, covering areas such as design, development, problem-solving, and production support within the software industry and R&D sectors.

PEO 2

Graduates will be able to successfully pursue higher education at reputed institutions.

PEO 3

Graduates will act as ethical and socially responsible solution providers and entrepreneurs within Computer Science and other engineering disciplines.

Program Outcomes

POs describe what students are expected to know or be able to do by the time of graduation from the program. At the time of their graduation, the B.E. Computer Science and Engineering students will have the following abilities.

PO 1. Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.

PO 2. Identify, formulate, research literature, and analyse complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences. 

PO 3. Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.

PO 4. Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.

PO 5. Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modelling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.

PO 6. Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.

PO 7. Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.

PO 8. Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.

PO 9. Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams, and in multidisciplinary settings

PO 10. Communicate effectively on complex engineering activities with the engineering community and with society at large, such as, being able to comprehend and write effective reports and design documentation, make effective presentations, and give and receive clear instructions.

PO 11. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the engineering and management principles and apply these to one’s own work, as a member and leader in a team, to manage projects and in multidisciplinary environments.

PO 12. Recognize the need for, and have the preparation and ability to engage in independent and life-long learning in the broadest context of technological change.
