Dr. J. Jayachitra

HoD (Cyber Security)

The Department of Cyber Security was established in 2023 with an initial intake of 60 students under the B.E (CSE) program. In today’s fast-evolving digital age, the increasing integration of technology into every aspect of life has created an interconnected world that is both innovative and vulnerable. The Cyber Security Department plays a vital role in addressing these vulnerabilities by safeguarding sensitive information, computer systems, networks, and digital assets from a wide array of cyber threats and attacks.

With its primary focus on ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of digital resources, the department strives to maintain the trust of stakeholders by fostering a culture of vigilance and preparedness. The increasing complexity of cyber threats demands continuous innovation and adaptation. This department equips students with the skills and knowledge necessary to meet the challenges of the dynamic digital security landscape and contribute to a safer technological future.
