IFET College of Engineering, established in 1998 by the Indo French Educational Trust (IFET), embodies a vision to advance education and research in Engineering and Technology. Founded by eminent industrialists and NRIs, the Trust is dedicated to empowering rural youth by imparting knowledge and emphasizing the importance of technology in everyday life. Under the dynamic leadership of Mr. K.V. Raja (Chairman), Mr. K. Shivram Alva (Secretary), and Mr. R. Secretary
Industrialist – Alvaplast & Alva Pipes (NATIONAL AWARD WINNER). Social supporter-Running a school for Orphans and Challenged Children for the past two decades. Active member of Manufacturers Association-Puducherry, Social Worker/Counselor in local NGOs. A good public communicator and supporter of deprived community. Involved in the development of the Technical Education for the past two decades.

A young and dynamic engineer cum finance executive. He has done B.E in Computer Science and Engineering and MBA with finance as specialization. He is pursuing in doctoral degree.

Dr. G. Mahendran (M.Tech, Ph.D)
Principal
He joined this institute in December 2011 as Dean and became Principal in October 2013. With numerous publications and presentations in national and international journals and symposia, he is a recognized Ph.D. supervisor under Anna University and Sathyabama University, specializing in materials joining. Additionally, he oversees the NBA accreditation process for engineering programs, contributing significantly to the institution’s academic excellence and quality standards.
Dr. P. Kanimozhi
Dean Academics
She earned her Ph.D. in November 2021 from Anna University, Chennai, specializing in data security and intrusion detection in cloud environments using advanced techniques such as LR-OTSFCM and CP-ABE. With 19 years of teaching experience, she currently serves as Professor and Dean Academics of IFET College of Engineering (Autonomous), Villupuram. She has authored over 17 research papers and 9 book chapters in reputed journals including IEEE Xplore, John Wiley & Sons, IET, IGI Global, and IOP Publishing. Her research interests include Cloud Computing Security, Big Data, and Blockchain technologies. She holds a patent registered with Intellectual Property India and is a life member of ISTE and IAENG. As a reviewer for four international journals, she actively contributes to academic research. She has also received funding from CSIR, ICSSR, and AICTE to conduct awareness programs on emerging trends in Computer Science and Engineering.
