IFET Innovation Park

FET Innovation Park is a dynamic hub dedicated to transforming knowledge into enterprise. It fosters a culture of creativity, research, and entrepreneurship by providing students with mentorship, resources, and industry collaborations. Through workshops, hackathons, and competitions, it empowers young innovators to develop groundbreaking solutions and turn ideas into successful ventures.

Objectives

To nurture a comprehensive and supportive environment for innovation, instilling it as a core attribute in every student while guiding young minds to transform knowledge into enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Encouraging a culture of innovation and creativity among students and faculty by organizing workshops, seminars, and events focused on innovative thinking and problem-solving.

  • Facilitating research and development activities by providing resources, funding, and guidance to students and faculty members working on innovative projects and ideas.

  • Supporting entrepreneurial initiatives by providing mentorship, infrastructure, and networking opportunities to students and faculty members interested in starting their own ventures based on innovative technologies or ideas.

  • Organizing hackathons and innovation challenges to inspire students to solve real-world problems. Key competitions include Hackathon, Toycathon, Yugam, Baja SAE, and Coding Hackathons.

  • Establishing collaborations with industry partners to provide students with exposure to real-world problems and opportunities for technology transfer and commercialization of innovations.

  • Offering training programs and workshops to enhance students' skills in areas such as design thinking, prototyping, project management, and entrepreneurship.
