Objectives

IFET College of Engineering is committed to supporting its students in their academic pursuits by providing information about various scholarships and a financial aid opportunity. The college aims to ensure that eligible students have access to relevant scholarships and are assisted throughout the application process.

  • Scholarship Information Dissemination: At the beginning of each academic year, IFET College will provide information about scholarships, notifying students about Government and Non-Government scholarships through notifications, circulars, brochures, and other materials received by the college.

  • Student Support and Guidance: To address students' queries and provide guidance, the college designates a dedicated person ( Liaison Officer) in the office. This officer will offer assistance and support to students on a regular basis.

  • Registration and Liaison: IFET College is registered on relevant Government Scholarship portals and with departments offering scholarships. The college ensures its name and institutional ID/code are available on these portals for easy student applications.

  • Application Processing and Verification: The college's office and Liaison officer are responsible for processing scholarship applications on time. They also guide and assist students in establishing connections with governmental departments and other agencies as required.

  • Information Accessibility: Details about scholarships are prominently displayed on the students' Notice Board and in the College Library for easy access.

  • Eligibility and Application: Students are encouraged to register and apply for available scholarships based on their eligibility criteria. Institutional Endowments are disbursed to eligible students following the guidelines, with merit being taken into account.

  • Merit-Cum-Means Basis: Scholarships are awarded on a merit-cum-means basis, prioritizing needy students and ensuring that the funds reach the right beneficiaries.

  • Institutional Social Responsibility: IFET College may offer inherent fee concessions for certain courses, promoting their study for the betterment of society, and additional financial support/fee concessions to student achievers as determined by the top management/trust.

  • Support and Application Assistance:The college is dedicated to keeping students informed about scholarships and providing necessary assistance. The students can utilize the internet facility in the library to apply for scholarships.

  • Prompt Addressing of Requests: Requests for attestation, bonafide certificates, fee statements, and study certificates will be promptly addressed.

  • Renewal Application Alerts: Renewal application alerts will be displayed on the notice board to remind students of deadlines.

Procedure for Applicaiton

During admission, students are provided with information about various scholarships, Scholarship Information Systems, and Portals of the State and Central Governments. They are advised to have a bank account and seed their Aadhaar number to it. Submission of essential documents such as Income Certificate, Caste Certificate, and others is mandatory. Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) information is provided as most Government Scholarships are disbursed directly to beneficiaries’ bank accounts.

The students/parents/guardians are advised to visit the National Scholarship Portal and State Scholarship Portal and complete the registrations. They are advised to keep the following details/documents ready while registering:
