FDP on Cloud Architecture

Sathyabama participated in the 5-day International FDP on “Cloud Architect” held from 18th to 22nd November 2024, organized by Vardhaman Engineering College, AVS Engineering & Technology, and other institutions in collaboration with ExcelR Edtech.

Manvizhi participated in a 5-day online FDP on “Next-Generation Technologies on Information and Communication” held from 5th to 9th November 2024, organized by Bengal College of Engineering and Technology, in collaboration with IIC and EDC.

FDP on AI & Quantum Comp.

Mrs. M. Libina participated in a 5-day online FDP on “Exploring Emerging Frontiers in Generative AI and Quantum Computing” from 23rd to 27th September 2024, organized by the Department of CSE (IoT, CS, BT), IEM Kolkata, in association with HRDC, IEM-UEM Group. She completed the course with 100% marks and gained valuable insights.

Sathiyamoorthi. K participated in the workshop on “AI-Enhanced Web Development,” conducted on 27th October 2024 by GUHA Industrial Solutions, Neyveli. The workshop focused on cutting-edge techniques and tools to enhance web development skills using artificial intelligence, offering hands-on experience and in-depth insights into the latest advancements in AI technologies.

M of II year IT students participated in the National Level Srinivasa Ramanujan Mathematical Competitions Level 1 (Chapter Level) conducted by ISTE Tamilnadu Section on 19th and 20th October 2024, as part of the 2024-2025 academic year for engineering college students.

Program Outcomes

POs describe what students are expected to know or be able to do by the time of graduation from the program. At the time of their graduation, the B.E. Computer Science and Engineering students will have the following abilities.

PO 1. Apply knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals and computer science engineering specialization to the conceptualization of engineering models.

PO 2. Identify, formulate, research literature and solve complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics and computer science engineering.

PO 3. Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design systems, components or processes that meet specified needs with appropriate consideration for public health and safety, cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.

PO 4. Conduct investigations of complex problems including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of information to provide valid conclusions.

PO 5. Create, select and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering tools, including prediction and modeling, to complex engineering activities, with an understanding of the limitations.

PO 6. Function effectively as an individual, and as member or leader in diverse teams, and in multidisciplinary settings.

Software Engineers' Association

The Software Engineer’s Associaton(SEA) is Self-Financed activity for the students of Department of Information Technology to promote themselves by conducting Seminars, Guest Lectures and National Level Technical Symposiums every semester and also various competitions. The Association of “SEA” was created to surf the knowledge of the students and to make them well-trained engineers and qualified pillars of our country.
