SPIRULINA-CANDY AND OXYGEN PLANT

In rural areas, children are suffering from malnutrition. Due to monsoon failure many farmers and women are unemployed. Government is keen in solving malnutrition and unemployment problem among rural people. Innovative technologies to produce nutritious products with a time bound implementation is the need of the hour. This method is to set up a Spirulina growing facility in rural areas employing farmers and women. Spirulina is a nutritious food containing more than 60% protein. Spirulina (A BLUE GREEN ALAGAE- ARTHROSPIRA PLATENSIS) which is easily grown in sea water as well as fresh water and its production is another source of income for villagers in addition to improving their health. Since Spirulina candy has 60% protein content and it reduces malnutrition. It has been approved a space food in NASA and ideal food by WHO.
