Program Outcomes

POs describe what students are expected to know or be able to do by the time of graduation from the program. At the time of their graduation, the B.Tech Information Technology students will have the following abilities.
Program Outcomes of Computer Science and Engineering
 a  Apply knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals and computer science engineering specialization to the conceptualization of engineering models.
 b   Identify, formulate, research literature and solve complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics and computer science engineering.
 c   Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design systems, components or processes that meet specified needs with appropriate consideration for public health and safety, cultural, societal, and environmental considerations
 d   Conduct investigations of complex problems including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of information to provide valid conclusions.
 e   Create, select and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering tools, including prediction and modeling, to complex engineering activities, with an understanding of the limitations.
 f   Function effectively as an individual, and as member or leader in diverse teams, and in multidisciplinary settings.
 g   Communicate effectively on complex engineering activities with the engineering community and with the society at large, such as, being able to comprehend and write effective reports and design documentation, make effective presentations, and give and receive clear instructions

Program Specific Outcomes(PSOs)

PSO1 Apply the basic principles of mathematics, science, operating systems, database, network administration and application software in the context of advanced computing.
PSO2 Understand the impact of analog and digital communication, information management, cryptography and network security to design, simulate and implement appropriate security protocols for IT infrastructure.
PSO3Analyze the project management strategies to carry out societal IT projects in diverse environment and test realistic socio-economic constraints for an individual, organization and society.

Software Engineer's Associaton

The Software Engineer's Associaton(SEA) is Self-Financed activity for the students of Department of Information Technology to promote themselves by conducting Seminars, Guest Lectures and National Level Technical Symposiums every semester and also various competitions. The Association of "SEA" was created to surf the knowledge of the students and to make them well-trained engineers and qualified pillars of our country..
